Providing users the latest in high-quality movie playback, CyberLink’s TrueTheater™ HD technology turns standard content into HD-quality images. At a cost significantly under $100, the iHOS104 is an affordable and convenient way for consumers to enhance their movie viewing.

“We’re dedicated to staying on the cutting-edge of technology while offering the latest advances to consumers at an affordable price,” said Christine Hsing, Marketing Manager at PLDS. “Having Cyberlink’s TrueTheater™ HD technology included in the new iHOS104 will make it easy for consumers to upgrade their system and enjoy high-definition content playback within their budgets.”

CyberLink’s video up-scaling technology can convert video resolution from 480p to 1080p, making standard-definition content played on HD screens appear to be as detailed and sharp as high-resolution video. TrueTheater™ HD is the ideal solution for watching standard DVD videos in full-screen sizes on large displays or via projectors.

The iHOS104 also incorporates the latest industry standard Serial ATA interface which provides better performance and compatibility.  It reads Blu-ray disc media at 4X maximum, DVD media at 8X maximum and CD media at 32X maximum. The iHOS104 is now available for $69.99 MSRP and an external model is expected to launch later in the year. For more product information, please visit www.liteonit.com.
