mLink enables PCIe adapter cards (video capture cards, RAID controllers, host bus adapters, SSDs, etc.) to be attached to Thunderbolt-equipped computers. mLink brings the functionality of these add-in cards that formerly required a desktop system to all-in-one and portable computers like the iMac and MacBook Pro. Visit www.mlogic.com for a list of Thunderbolt-aware PCIe cards that are compatible with mLink.

mLink Highlights:

  • Links PCIe cards with Thunderbolt-aware drivers to computers with a Thunderbolt port
  • Two Thunderbolt ports for easy daisy-chaining of up to six Thunderbolt peripherals
  • Small and sleek desktop form factor

“I am thrilled to have partnered with recognized leaders in the content creation industry to showcase our new mLink at NAB 2012,” said Roger Mabon, CEO of mLogic. “Using mLink, PCIe cards such as Fibre Channel HBAs, 10GbE NICs and RAID controllers can be linked to Thunderbolt-equipped portable computers like the MacBook Pro. No more big-iron desktops required!”

Pricing and Availability

mLink will be available in June through select retailers and distributors or direct via the company’s online store at www.mlogic.com. MSRP is $399.99.
