Today, CDRLabs brings you an in depth review of LG's 8x Blu-ray Disc rewriter, the BH08LS20. This new Super Multi Blue drive is capable of 8x BD-R, 8x BD-R DL and 2x BD-RE writing speeds and a maximum BD-ROM read speed of 8x. The BH08LS20 is also backwards compatible with all major CD and DVD formats and includes features like HP's LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling system. 

CDRLabs kicks off the week with an in depth look at Lite-On's 22x DVD writer, the iHAS422. This Serial ATA equipped "Super AllWrite" drive is capable of 22x DVD±R, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW, 8x DVD±R DL and 12x DVD-RAM writing speeds and a maximum DVD read speed of 16x. Along with support for HP's LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling system, the iHAS422 also features many of the technologies we've come to expect from Lite-On, including more advanced ones like SmartWrite, SmartErase and OverSpeed.

CDRLabs has taken an in depth look at LG's new network attached storage device, the N4B1. Designed for home and small business users, this four-bay NAS supports multiple RAID configurations and can be configured to store up to 8TB of data. What makes the N4B1 stand out among other NAS devices in its class is its built in Blu-ray rewriter. This drive not only serves as a secondary storage medium, it makes it possible to share a BD, DVD or CD among many users by creating a virtual disc library.

CDRLabs kicks off the week with a review of Sony Optiarc's new 24x DVD writer, the AD-7240S.  While affordably priced, this highly anticipated drive features some of the fastest reading and writing speeds available. The AD-7240S is capable of 24x DVD±R, 12x DVD±R DL, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW and 12x DVD-RAM writing speeds as well as a maximum DVD read speed of 16x.

Featuring some of the fastest reading and writing speeds available, this Serial ATA equipped "Super-WriteMaster" drive is capable of 22x DVD±R, 16x DVD+R DL, 12x DVD-R DL, 8x DVD+RW, 6x DVD-RW and 12x DVD-RAM writing speeds, and a maximum DVD read speed of 16x. The SH-S223Q also offers a number of features including HP's LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling system and Samsung's TruDirect recording technology.

Today, CDRLabs brings you an in depth look at Plextor's new Qflix enabled DVD writer, the PX-Q840U. With this new external drive, consumers can purchase and download movies from Cinemanow and then burn a permanent copy that can be played back on a standard DVD player. The PX-Q840U also offers 20x DVD±R, 12x DVD-RAM and 8x DVD±R DL writing speeds as well as support for Plextor's new PlexUtilities software.

CDRLabs finishes up the week with a review of Pioneer's first Qflix enabled DVD writer, the DVR-2920Q. With this new drive, consumers can purchase and download movies from CinemaNow and then burn a permanent copy that can be played back on a standard DVD player. The DVR-2920Q also offers 20x DVD±R, 12x DVD±R DL and 12x DVD-RAM writing speeds as well as support for Pioneer's Optimum Write Speed technology.

CDRLabs has put together a review of SanDisk's Cruzer Enterprise USB flash drive. Designed to meet the security needs of today's IT professionals, the Cruzer Enterprise imposes mandatory access control on all files, storing them in a hardware-encrypted, password-protected partition. The Cruzer Enterprise also features ultra-fast transfer speeds and is one of the first secure USB flash drives to support both Macintosh and Windows computers.

CDRLabs has put together a brief review of Kingston's new DataTraveler 150 USB flash drive.  Available in 32GB and 64GB capacities, the DT150 gives users the ability to transport and share entire libraries of music, photos, documents and video on a device no bigger than a pocketknife.
