<description>Just read through the whole review and found it interesting, specially considering that I have one on my desk. So far I've had no issues with my 840u. Both my brother and I use it very often and it's holding up well. Haven't had any writing issues and burn speed wise, I think it does it's job very well. Sure there are some things that I would change, like the huge qflix logo :D but for the money, you can't really complain.

<description>I have this drive and was surprised at how neutral a review it received. I mean so far, I have no complaints and as far as I know, it is the first of it's kind, sporting the QFlix technology! There is no way around it, copyright protection exists and is going to be a big part of the future as far as how digital content is accessed and shared. I think Plextor made a smart choice releasing a product that will inevitably be the drive people think of when they think of QFlix. I don't want to risk sounding like I work for the company, trust me, I don't, but I think Plextor released the drive for a reason, even if it means getting an average review.
