3540A vs 3520A..any major improvements in this latest drive?

why has a newer drive been announced so soon after the release of the 3520A? the only thing i can see thats different in the spec is the speed of writing CDRWs (32x instead of 24x in the 3520a) and DVD +R9 is 8x instead of 4x

which firmware would everyone recommend for the 3520a? i currently have the original release 1.25

Hy! I also have NEC ND-3520A but with firmware 1.04. Where did you get official 1.25 firmware release?

theres no such firmware for the 3520, only one out is the 1.04
