Adding Tracks In An Already Burned Audio CD

Postby Superkarlito on Sun Jan 25, 2004 12:10 am

Is it possible to add another track to an already burned audio cd?
I know in NERO with a Yamaha writer, you can edit an audio cd but this is using a cdrw which can't be read by all cd players. I would want to use a CDR so that it would be read by ordinary cd players.

If the audio CD was burned TAO(not closed) it's possible.

I tried that, I used TAO, did not finalize the disk.
I added another track and it had a warning about the ISO thingy, that it may be possible that it won't work on cd players. And when I did test it, the track I added wasn't detected by the cd player.

I think that CD players need a closed disc.

Dear Slim,
You are correct. The disc needs to be closed to be read on normal audio CD player. If burnt in TAO mode, only songs in first session will be played and others will not be seen by the CD player. But computer can play all the tracks whether burnt on DAO or TAO.
See ya guys later,
