So Gabe! Do you have a 1616? Several of us do and like the price vs quality! However the 1640/3540/110d/1693 are dirt cheap at this point in time.

Nope. A time ago I had almost bought a 1608, but after read some results I refuse. The 1608 was also not really cheap in Germany, for a lower price I can buy a LG, NEC and LiteOn.

But I´m still intrested in an AOPen, because I don´t have had a DVD-writer from that brand
