Audio sync problems converting XviD to DVD

Postby diskdocx on Wed Jun 22, 2005 10:02 am

I've switched from Ulead to NeroVision Express to convert XviD avi files (TV shows mostly) to DVD for watching on my standalone.

Overall the quality is much better than with Ulead (and the interface is more intuitive), but it seems like the audio is always out of sync. It may be barely noticeable, but in some cases it may be 1-2 seconds out. The source avi files are fully synced. The audio always trails the video.

I don't think it is a computer problem - I'm running a licenced OEM version of Nero, fully updated. Computer has over 1gig of RAM.

Anyone with any suggestions?

Thanks :)

Try converting the audio to WAV first using Ulead(videostudio?).
