Boxing Day Sales: What did you get this year?

Postby Spazmogen on Fri Dec 26, 2003 12:19 am

Note to Americans:
Boxing Day is either the 26th or 27th of December (it's up to the store managers as to which day the sale will be in Canada). It's much like Black Friday in the USA. I believe that Boxing Day is a British holiday, but many Commonwealth countries honour it.

I got two 160gb Western Digital Special Edition HDD's for $128 CDN each (after mir) that's about $98 USD. Future Shop online.

Future Shop (Canada) has gone mail in rebate crazy since Best Buy bought them last year.

One drive is mine, the other is for my father's new system.

So, what did you buy this boxing day/week ?

I so hate rebates! I should earn interest on the money I loan them.
