First of all hello to everyone on the forums, please be gentle with me.......
i have a problem with burning cd-rw's on my system. cd-r's burn fine, but i just cannot get cd-rws to burn. even before i can format them i get the following error "0004-0005-0030-0005" using the very latest nero 5.10 and the latest Incd software.. i have a Teac CD-W524E running firmware 1.0D.
my system is running windows XP Home Edition. AMD 1800+, 512Mgs Ram, Geforce2 Ti Graphics, Soundblaster Live 5.1.
i have tried EasyCd Creator, Windows XP and Nero 5 to try and sort this out, but the drive ejects the disc a few seconds into the formatting process.....
i have read that maybe i need a certain manufactorurs disc's, but surely its all the same technology.. I have been trying to use Pine 650 MB discs.
