Have you read the reviews of each drive here? Both received the same mark, and honestly, you can't go wrong with either drive. The only differences in the reviews is that Plextor 48/24/48A received more cons than the Premium. Although, that's not a viable excuse for picking the Premium over the Plextor 48/24/48A, per se.
