Burn baby burn!

Can´t identify the media, type, manufacturer, etc...

Postby 18045 on Tue Aug 26, 2003 9:36 am

Hi, I have a LTR 48246 with the upgrade SS0E, since some time can´t identify the media. I tried with some utilities like CDR Identifier, SMART-Burn Media Checker or Nero InfoTool, but none of them give me any information about the media, always the same "Unknown" "Blank CDr" etc... even with old media that in the past could get.

I thought that the problem could be about Aspis, but after installed/upgraded them I continued with the same problem...

Any idea about it?

Thanks and sorry about my English.

make sure you don't have any program such as CloneCD or Alcohol 120% with a "hicd CDR media" option enabled.
this prevents reading the ATIP info from the CDR/W and won't let you recognize the symptoms will be like you described
