Compaq Presario 14" CRT monitor for sale - name your $$

Postby UALOneKPlus on Tue Mar 18, 2003 8:51 pm

Very good condition Compaq 14" CRT for sale, as I have upgraded to a 15" LCD recently.

I'll also throw in the Compaq Presario speakers, which are a pair and sort of tall, with nice sound. The AC adapter got cracked so all you have to do is buy an AC adapter from Radio Shack to make it work.

I'll also throw in a GE digital answering machine as well. Trying to clean house the easy way :)

I'm not really too sure how many people are interested in a 14" CRT. Most people are either buying LCD's these days or flat screen screen monitors that are no smaller than 17". I don't think any of the major companies like Viewsonic, NEC, Sony, Samsung, or etc. even make 15" CRT's anymore. I think it might be just better to keep the monitor yourself for a future computer or donate it to a relative who can use it.

Just my $0.02 on the topic

I suggest you keep the monitor as spare for an emergency.

I got an 15" monitor recently like this as a backup as I am using a 17" LG monitor for better viewing.

Oh, sorry about that. I should have updated this thread.

I gave it to a friend about a month ago.

I have a 17" backup that works really well, so I'm not missing this monitor :)
