:o I didn't know such a thing could exist, but you're certainly not seeing things; it really says double-sided! I wonder how that works. Is is possible that they really mean the Sony double-density CD-Rs?

I haven't seen them, but I would assume they are they same as double-sided DVD recordable discs - reflective layer in the middle sandwiched by two layers of dye and polycarbonate.

I thinks its a typo, should be double density cdr, check this out:

http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinity/eCS/Store/-/-/-/SY_BrowseCatalog-Start?CategoryName=acc_RecordableMedia_CD/CDR/CDRWMedia

The model numbers seem to match.

Too bad, if it really was double sided CD-Rs I probably would have bought a ten pack, just for Novelty's sake! :D
