Drink of choice for New Years' Eve

Postby kevincott on Fri Jan 02, 2004 12:55 am

I drank with some hick friends out in Byron IL.

We started with Pineapple and Malibu, then finished the last several hours with good 'ole Bud Light.

Any better drink combos or stories?

and here I thought that I was the only one getting those hanzhi.net spam messages... you know, I don't like spam, in fact I hate it... but recently I've begun to appreciate the spam I get that is at least in *english* so that I can read what I'm trying to ignore... also, when it is sent in Japanese or Chinese (or any other lanuage I can't read) it makes finding the un-subscribe button REALLY difficult

(for those who don't know what I'm talking about, that CD-R beer brand image is from a webpage that has been spamming me in another language recently)

Back on topic: I had some dry Merlot wine for new years... I didn't particularily like it much, and I would have much preferred my regular Bailey's Irish Cream, Baja Rosa, Franjelico, and other liquers that I normally enjoy on such occasions, but I spent all my money on other things this year (CD-Rs, DVDs, PS2, X-Mas presents, G/F presents, etc...)
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R

During the early hours of the eve, the family and I had YooHoo (my daughter likes it).

After my daughter went to bed, the adults had some Gran Spumante.

Turkeyscore.com-
What does that bawlz drink taste like ? (yeah, I intentionally worded that in a way that I wouldn't get ragged on :P ) I saw it and CompUSA years ago...haven't seen in around in any other stores for some reason. I woldn't mind trying it.

MonteLDS-
Wet water? Is that a new drink, or is it a sarcastic way to say "water". Hey, I dunno, there's a lot of new drinks out there that I've never heard about. Hell, my friend had sent me a link to purchase some Turkey and Gravy flavored soda. *ick*

Banshee-
Didja drink the Morgans and Dew separately or mixed? I had it mixed in college (cause it's all that was left after a huge dorm party I threw) and puked as well. To this day, I can't drink either without getting horrible flashbacks. :-? BTW, Is that Jon Davis? Love GSX-Rs *thumbs up*

Anyone remember the drink named Orbitz?
