In the end, we in South Korea are importing six units of Buffalo DVM-4222IU2 4x writer drive and two units of Toshiba SD-M1712 16x reader drive. About 15KG. The external drives in box are too heavy. They will arrive tomorrow maybe and I will get two of the 4x writers by Friday. 37,800 Yen (378,000 Won) plus 5% Japanese VAT. 1% point that can be used to buy other products but who's gonna use it I don't know. 10,000 Won per drive as fee for the importer. Therefore, I will pay about 815,000 South Korean Won in cash which is about 680 USD. 340 USD for a 4x drive plus a 5.25-inch bay with both IEEE 1394 and USB 2.0 connectors. Never paid before over 400,000 Won for a single storage drive.
