DVR-108 or DVR-109 ?

Postby mrmusicman on Tue Mar 08, 2005 8:01 pm

Hello, everyone! I need to decide between buying a Pioneer DVR-108 and a DVR-109. A friend of mine has a 108 and is quite enthusiastic about it, but he knows nothing about the 109. He strongly advised me to come to this forum and ask for people's opinions as to which is better, the DVR-108 or DVR-109. Does anyone here have an opinion on the matter?

Thank You

dvr 109 adds squat over the 108, it only adds dvd-r DL burning

and then faster write times on formats, but the 108 has been out tons longer and has way better firmware support

but then again its getting harder to find the 108, most places have the 109
