Family Guy is BACK, baby!

Taken from: http://www.tvtome.com/FamilyGuy/
www.tvtome.com wrote:With this new interest in Family Guy, Fox began talking to FG's creator (Seth MacFarlane) on when he could resume production of Family Guy. This would make Family Guy, the FIRST television series ever to be canceled, and then renewed years later as a direct result of DVD sales.

Seth MacFarlane has said in interviews he believes Family Guy will be ready for air sometime in December 2004, or January 2005. Stay tuned to THIS guide where we will break all the new details on the series as they become available.

YES YES YES!!! :D :P =D> =P~ \:D/

That would be Awsome! I have most of Futurama on DVD now, and plan to get The Family Guy next. All I need is Season 2 of Futurama, and Seasons 1 and 2 of Transformers, and I'll be ready to start picking up The Family Guy... It's hard to drop $40-65 per season on a regular basis though!

For me it's about $40-$45 a season, but I'm in Canada, and that's Canadian dollars

Now they need to cancel "The Simpsons"...that show used to be good, but it just sucks now. As to Futurama, I've only seen a few (it's on right before Family Guy on Cartoon Network now), but I like what I've seen so far. Hmm, might have to fire up Agent :)

No kidding. I love Family Guy, but Futurama is 100x better.

Anyone catch last weeks Simpsons? Had a big time Futurama reference in it.

Alejandra, can you please remove or modify your avatar that is super long? It is pushing the board halfway across my screen, and I have a 19" monitor, so that's not an easy task! LOL!

CDFreaks has a limit of 64x64 and a max file size of 12k, but they have also an option to not display the avatars.

Only 200+? I'm not even trying and I have almost 1000.... I'm *SURE* Hoxland has me beat too. My DVDR collection is much more limited since I tend to go legit.

Hey Hoxland, sorry, but when it comes to The Family Guy, Futurama, or similar shows, I just gotta stick with the real deal! The Digipak packaging is super sweet, and I do want to support the shows through sales (I mean, look what it did for Family Guy!) :D

Well, 200 discs. I have no idea how many are DVDs. I've got a huge number of DVDs (over 350). Most of my DivX are TV shows that we can't get on cable and are not available on DVD.

And I gotta agree with dolphinius_rex, when it comes to shows like Family Guy, I gotta buy the real thing.

I used to compromise on quality with movies and tv shows, but now I'm pretty picky. If I'm downloading something because I missed it on TV, then I'm a little less picky, but if I'm downloading it because I want to keep it, then I'm very picky.

If I want to keep it, I rent it. DVD-Shrink & CCE are great!

For downloading, most of the stuff I can't get on cable, so I'm not too worried about it. I don't use P2P, so quality usually isn't a question. HDTV rips look QUITE nice! Besides, where else am I gonna get Seven Days?

So how many MP3's do you guys have? 39GB here...although at one point I had all of my room-mates CDs on the PC too, hit about 60GB.

Family Guy is quite possibly the best comedic cartoon ever! Yeah yeah yeah, the Simpsons are fine, but when you talk about laughs per episode, Family Guy tops everything!
