LG GCE-8480B and Easy Cd Creator 5.3.2.34

Hi all,

First of all excuse my english.

Recently i have bought the LG 48.16.48 cd-rw drive. The software that come with the unit is Nero. I like Nero but I would like install the ECDC software because i prefer Direct CD. In the cdrlabs review says that the units sold in the USA come with ECDC but with Mt. Rainier format disable due to a conflict with the Roxio software. I live in Spain and my unit have this feature enable. I would like to know if the last update of the Roxio software fix this problem.

I suggest that you contact Roxio Support with your question about Direct CD and Mt. Rainier support for your drive. I would also verify that your drive is supported in the retail Platinum version.

Unless someone reading this post has your LG GCE-8480B drive with the European firmware release and the latest Roxio Direct CD installed, you are otherwise unlikely to get an answer to your question.
