Heatsinks that will fit on the Gigabyte GA-81955X???

Postby elgato610 on Fri Sep 16, 2005 1:48 am

Are there any decent coolers that will fit on the Gigabyte GA-81955X with the DPS installed?

Without the DPS?

Thanks
Tom

if it were up to me, id rather have a cooler processor and go without the DPS

besides, every other motherboard out there on the market doesn't have it and you don't see them frying out left and right

The Scythe Katana will allow the DPS to be inserted. Expect it to be a very tight fit.

The only place that I have been able to find the Katana is Best Byte Computers:

See the below thread for my current idle temperature provided by Easy Tune:

Edit #1: Adding an attachment.

Edit #2: The two 120mm case fan above and to the left are exhaust in the Antec P180.
