help with NEC ND-3520A dvd burner

i bought this burner on http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproductde ... 035&DEPA=1


when i try to burn a 52x cd-r....the max it shown is 16x or 8x..even tho the max on this drive should be 48x

when i try to a burn a tdk 8x dvd-r..using nero the max it show is 2x or 4x?

can someone plz help me

what cd-rs are you trying to burn to?

when i burn to my TY 52x cd-r on my 3520, they can go all the way up to 48x

I would try other media. Just because it says 52x or 8x on the discs doesn't mean the drive supports them at those speeds.
