help with streaming radios

Postby eliott_tj00 on Tue May 19, 2009 6:19 am

Does anyone have any idea if it is possible to record streaming radios?Have to go away from home for a couple of weeks and I was thinking it would be great to be able to listen to some good music on my phone.

Audacity (http://audacity.sourceforge.net) is probably your best bet if you're willing to do some work configuring it. Here's a link explaining how to do it:

Otherwise here are a couple of good links with other solutions:

Try radiotracker, one of those reviewed in the about.com link from ian. It's easy to use and you don't have much configuring to do, if you're looking for a easy way of doing this.

Great, thanks.I am going to try the ones recommended here first, although I hope I can manage with the configuration part. Not such a genius in computers. The links also seem pretty promising.
