In our search for the ultimate combo drive, we've taken a look at CenDyne's 48/24/48/16 CD-RW/DVD-ROM. Based on the SM-348B from Samsung, this new combo drive reads and writes at 48x, rewrites at 24x and can read DVD's at speeds up to 16x. CenDyne's new drive also offers features like MediaTek's Super Link buffer underrun protection and support for the Mt. Rainier format.
In this review we take a look at some of the features found on CenDyne's combo drive and then see how it performs. How does it compare to the 48x combo drives from LG and Samsung? You'll have to check out the review to find out.
