Ian, don't have cable box or satellite dish to bypass the tuner section of 5005 to record LP's in stereo. Can a chip be replaced in tuner for it to encode in stereo?
The TV tuner records only in mono, at least in early versions of the recorder. I'm not sure if Lite-On has fixed this in later revisions or not, but adding a chip isn't possible. I'm not sure about recording LP's..
