Lead-Out not needed?

Postby QQ on Sun Dec 21, 2003 12:01 pm

Hmm,

I just created a compilation, which was 6 seconds too long (cd 79:57, compilation 80:03), so I tried to overburn, which seemed fine, up until lead-out, when led turned yellow, rotation speed decreased, and finally error message popped in Nero.

So I put cd back in, and hey, everything's there. I do file compare, and files are identical.

So did it manage to write enough of lead-out, or maybe it's not needed at all?=p
I made 4 mistakes in word MAMA.. and got BEER!

I've made quite a few overburned discs that Nero gave an error on but all play fine, even on an old CD player that's quite picky about the discs it'll play (gotta burn it at 16x or 24x for 'em to play).

I've never made a data disc like that, though...
Soon to be proud user of Mandrake 10 (again!). SuSE 9 sucks!
