Lightscribe doesn't work with my Philips SPD6000MB/00

Postby anuskaeg on Fri Mar 03, 2006 8:45 am

Hi,
I bought that DVD Recorder and all programs I've tried don't recognize lightscribe disc. I've tried Nero 6 (last review), Nero 7 (don't see any lightscribe logo), Surething CD Labeler, Droppix Labeler Maker... All of them don't recognize the lightscribe disc. I can record DVD and CD perfectly. I have instaled the last lightscribe driver. The media I'm using is Verbatim CD-R

Thank you

Anuska

Use Nero 6.6.1.4 and the last "LightScribe Host Driver" here : http://dl1.nero.com/LS_HSI.EXE

Gives attention to the licence, enabling or not LS.

Read C. Campbell from Nero AG :
http://www.cdrlabs.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=20880
"There are three needed components to support LightScribe.
1) A Recorder that supports LightScribe
2) The LightScribe API
3) A Nero Serial Key that enabled LightScribe.
All Retail Serail Key's enable LightScribe. Not all OEM Serial Keys enable LightScribe, and no Demo Serial Key enables LightScribe."

N.B. :
From what I know about Nero 7 keys, LS is only enabled with a key starting with 1C or 1C80 (Nero 7 Premium ok, Nero 7 Ultra ko).
Nero 7 Ultra keys starting with 5C do not enable LS.
