Lite-On SOHW 1673S, oops, I think I made a mistake?

DVD-R/W, DVD+R/RW, DVD-RAM

No, there's a problem with my drive. Leading seems to be normal with most media, but leadout takes forever with DVD-R discs. I've lead Lite-On know and they're looking into it.

I'm at home with sick baby today, hehe.

My brother says having no problems backing up with the drive so far. 8)

Anybody knows if the CD-R writing problems also occur with the 1693S?

Yep... looks like it. With the early firmware at least. :(

It would be useful if someone could report if there problems exist when burning CDR'S at lower speed (32X OR 40X)
