LiteOn with USB 2.0 compatibility

Hi,

I just received my new CDRW burner from LiteOn. It's the external model with USB 2.0 compatibility.
Except the fact that is a little bit noisy (but normal for external CD burner...and less than my internal MSI MS-8348A), it seems to be quite good.

As i'm traveling a lot, i would like to test the compliance of USB port before to burn a CDR.

Do you know a software which could let me know which compatibility has USB port of each computer on which i'm connected ?

The burner should work on both a USB 1.1 and a USB 2.0 port. On USB 1.1, it will probably only reach 6x max whereas it will reach it's full speed when it's on a USB 2.0 port. You could use Nero CDSpeed to test how fast the drive is able to go without wasting a CD.
