Mitsui Gold or TY?

Postby will7 on Thu Aug 04, 2005 10:48 am

I know Taiyo Yuden cd-r's are highly thought of here, Mitsui considered over-rated. I'm fairly new to the game + friends I asked said Mitsui Gold
is the best blank media hands down.

But they're tough to find + not cheap.
If I decided to go with TY, what would be their top quality?

Also, anyone ever deal with these guys?--prices seem pretty decent.

TY for sure, I don't think good Mitsui media is readily available currently. Try rima.com, they seem to be well recommended.

I can second on both TY and buying them from Rima.

TY is by far the top quality for CD-R's (rivaled by MCC, if they still make any of their own) at least in my opinion.

Furthermore, I've only had good expiriences at Rima, and have only heard about good expiriences at Rima, so I would strongly recommend them.
