NASA Loses Moon Landing Videos

I'm sure George Lucas could make them some new ones. :D

The U.S. government has misplaced the original recording of the first moon landing, including astronaut Neil Armstrong's famous "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind," a NASA spokesman said on Monday.

Armstrong's famous space walk, seen by millions of viewers on July 20, 1969, is among transmissions that NASA has failed to turn up in a year of searching, spokesman Grey Hautaloma said.

"We haven't seen them for quite a while. We've been looking for over a year and they haven't turned up," Hautaloma said.

The tapes also contain data about the health of the astronauts and the condition of the spacecraft. In all, some 700 boxes of transmissions from the Apollo lunar missions are missing, he said.

You mean he didn't do the originals? :o

Seriously, this was on the front page of our local paper today, togther with the remark that the only drive capable of reading these tapes at the Goddard Space Flight Center will be retired in Oct.

So they'd better get their ass in gear if they don't want to fuel the flat-earth crowd too much. [-X

They would have looked better than they did if he did the special effects.

Actually, that would be Hanger 18. (I saw the movie). Of course, if you go by "The War Of The Worlds" tv series, Harrison Blackwood states that it's Hanger 15, Hanger 18 is the cover story. :D

Close, Spaz, but not exactly.
And I made a mistake, I meant Hangar 18, a movie.
Along with Area 51, Hangar 18 are two of the apexes of the Cosmic Triangle.
The third is Roswell, NM.

Its a cover up I tell ya. We didnt really land on the moon. It was a video taken in a studio made to look like the moon. Now that people are starting to actually beleive this theory they lost the original tapes. Conspiracy.

My god I need to sleep. I have been getting about an hour a day all week. Insomnia sucks.I am getting crazier.
