A friend of mine has a LG 24X burner on his old computer.He has Nero 6 on the old computer for burning purposes.
Recently he had installed Nero 7 on the computer for trial purposes.He didnt like Nero 7,so he uninstalled it and reinstalled Nero 6.6.1.4.
He can burn data CD's without any problems,but while burning VCD/SVCD from pictures,mainly .JPG's taken from a digicam,Nero crashes.When the burn button is pressed the compilation,a message saying 'Unexpected exception' is seen and the burn process fails.Nero crashes after the message.
I tried removing and reinstalling Nero 6 after cleaning the registry,but that did not help.According to my friend he was able to burn VCD fine before he installed Nero7.
