nero won't burn with new MB

Asus MB nforce 2, AMD XP 2500 1 GIG of RAM WINXP PRO

I reformatted HD, did a transfer settings and reinstalled NERO. NERO IS OK until I hit burn, it then crashes. I tried a few different versions of NERO (including a fresh DL). Same problem. Windows says my drivers are OK.

Does anyone have any suggestions. I'm going to see if my MB has an updated drivers.

The problem turned out to the the auto-play feature of Windows XP. I had it set up to prompt the user, I changed it to do nothing.

If anyone from Ahead reads this I think you should either have Nero turn off auto play (if possible) or at least document this problem in the help section of your website.
