Thanks for the chat tonight too. I'm not too sure what else we can talk of though.

D'oh, we ran out of chat topics.

Perhaps we can shift back into something automotive related, be it in a virtual or real form.

PS, here the latest chop job a Japanese magazine did on the R35:

IMO, they got it wrong, it will rough yet stylish...that is to Z-ish to be a GT-R.

The GT-R will most likely look similar to this:

The first pic is too Z-ish like you said. The second pic is very nice. The front end looks like a Skyline. I especially like the large opening for the intercooler in the front and the vents on the hood. The color ain't bad either. The headlights do look a bit small compared to those large fog lights. Huge fender flares on it too. I'm liking that second one a lot right now, but can't wait to see the whole car.

The 2nd pic is an MG X80. Sweet car. That would be the right direction for the next GT-R, although mantaining the Skyline traditions, such as the grill and cool tailights, among others.

Since Ian mentioned that he really liked the Mitsubishi Evolution. My friend just found a pic of the sticker price on a Evolution, with a huge ass mark-up on it.

Well, that took care of any (in)decisions I would have spent my Ziliions and Gillions of dollars.

For that kind of money I would either buy a 350Z with a nismo R-tune or an R32 from MotoRex....gezz...talk about a mark-up.

I hate it when dealers do that. When I was shopping for a car a few years ago I looked at the Xterra. The dealers had jacked the price up a good $10-15g's for it. There was no way I was going to pay that. Now you can easily get an 4x4 Xterra with a V6 for $25... not the $35+ they wanted 3 years ago.

Hopefully the Evo will come down in price by the time I'm ready to buy a new car. Otherwise you'll see me in a Mazdaspeed.

They will. Just wait a few years after the intital release and the demand and prices will start to fall. It's just marked up so high right now because its a very hot item and only because you can only find so many in the states. Just wait until production and shipments of Evol go up.
