New Sony DRU 700A Firmware VY06E

Sony released a new firmware for this model. It's version VY06E.

I couldn't find the change log and i don't have this drive so i really can't say much more... #-o

Firmware Upgrade 1.0b

Improvements: Broadens compatibility with 8X DVD+R media available in the market and general performance improvement for other media types.

The original firmware had some problems with RW media. Hopefully this fixes it.

hrm... it's been a while since LiteON put out a new firmware for that drive, hasn't it?
Punch Cards -> Paper Tape -> Tape Drive -> 8" Floppy Diskette -> 5 1/4" Floppy Diskette -> 3 1/2" "Flippy" Diskette -> CD-R -> DVD±R -> BD-R
