News of DVD Writers

I installed Windows last night, copied a folder from my Plex 716SA to my HDD and it was really quick. Today I formatted again, installed Windows and did the same. I noticed that it wasn't as quick as it was last night. After installing PlexTools it seems like it has sped up again. Does PlexTools do this?

This is just a question out of curiousity. I just bought and installed a new 716A and have a question. When you hit the eject button and the tray starts to move out, does it move out pretty fast at first and then slow right at the end of its travel or is it the same speed all the way out? And is its motion about the same when retracting back into the drive?

Its a small thing but its making me crazy. How do I stop my Burner from ejecting my DVD after it finishes burning it?

I am using Nero 6.3 and the newest version of Shrink?

Is there a box someoplace that I can check or uncheck?

BTW the operation system is Win XP PRO and my burner is a Nutech ddw-082.

Anyone know how to do this with CD SPEED? All my DVD DL movies lock up on the rate transfer test. Is there a movie that is not encrypted?

I have been doing a lot of reserach on the drive lately. Seems like one of the best drive in the market. By reading the threads her and also from official BENQ website its evident there are two versions of this drive, one is 1620 and other one 1620 Pro. Also so many F/W released for this drive. Can anyone tell me what is the difference between BenQ 1620 and BenQ 1620 pro? ...

Does your tray come out rather quickly or rather slow? Mines is rather slow but my 708 is really quick compared to this one. Something wrong or just how it's made?

Has any body used the DVRS806SPK? I about to purchase one, but can't find any reviews on it.

What media is recommended for day to day burning activities ? -r, +r ?
My console pioneer dvd player supposedly supports both.
TY make the best dvd media for this burner ?
I paid 2 bucks exra for the sata version. It doesn't make a difference though?
