I just purchased a new system with Vista Ultimate 32bit, 4GB ram, e6600 cpu. On every CDR I try to burn on my Asus DRW-1814BLT (SATA, latest v1.10 firmware), when Nero Burning ROM tries to finish the burn by writing LEAD OUT, it report

"Invalid Write state"
"Could not perform end of disc-at-once"

Recently I have been doing a fair bit of work with home video files. I use nero for the final burn and BackItUp to look after the original artefacts (mostly large avi files). Nero 6 (BackItUp 1) doesn't backup files to DVD that are bigger than 2GB. Worse it doesn't really highlight this short coming except in a warning message in the log.

So I now have justification for Nero 7 (BackItUp 2) which splits ...

me.my dvd recorder was abble to make the picture very good but the au-
dio part needs to be fixed.the broadcast from which this video tape she sent
me was from a tv broadcast.the audio portion has distortion and needs to
be undistorted.can i use nero 7 in some way to fix the audio portion of the

Anyone know why some songs will play fine in Winamp and then after burning to a CD-R there is a slight break between songs? It's just a very very quick little blip but is noticable. This is mostly for albums that the songs run into each other like "Dark Side Of The Moon", "Operation: Mindcrime", etc. And, yes, I do check the no song breaks box or whatever that is. Thank you.

Hi, I am currently running NERO 7 Ultra Edition version 7.8.5.0 under WinXP Pro. I prefer to view all video through WMP 11. Currently I can play .FLV video with no problem. WMP shows that it is using the NERO Video Decoder to play. If I try to upgrade NERO to a newer version, I lose this ability. Audio plays fine, but no video.

Any suggestions?!?

in the old days of DOS backing up was to floppies BUT the cool backup programs let you use 2 floppies drives & the program toggled between the 2 drives so that you could load the next drive with your floppy so that there was no or little down time.

I've never really "likes" windows backups but these days the files can get huge. It would be great if Nero could use the DVD ...

I have a problem with nero vision 4 I try to transcode a home made movie from my video camera and, everything works until the point where I play my dvd. It seems that the picture is coming out not to clear like I see some blocks like it was compressed to much even though I don't see that the movie passes the capacity of 4.7 gigs can someone please help me with this problem? ...
