Is there a way to disable Showtime as being the default DVD player? I have WinDVD 6 which I think does a better job. But installing it causes conflicts with Showtime and playing DVD's thru Windows Media Player.

I have a NuTech DDW-081 @ B373
with the newest Nero Version

I can't burn DVD+ media.
But I can burn other typed like CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD+RW

What's wrong. I already tried out different types of media like Ricoh and Verbatim.

In earlier times I could burn without any problems. What's wrong.
Is my burner defect.

When I burn data onto a DVD, it works perfectly on my computer. However, on many other computers, it simply freezes or the files do not open.

I'm using the latest version of NERO.

Any other specs you want me to tell you or any suggestions as to what the problem would be greatly appreciated

I guess this is a bug with the latest one...coz I reverted back to 6.3.1.6 and it burned all the cd/dvd image files the latest one can't...

I have some files that are named with Japanese characters. I'm using win2k SP4, and windows explorer views the filenames properly. However, the filenames are truncated when viewed in Nero's filebrowser(all the kanji characters are cut, replaced by DOS style name: -something-~1), and I cannot drag-n-drop the files to the compilation site. Nero gives an error "File/Folder cannot be accessed." Installing and changing to the Japanese language pack doesn't help either. Can anybody help me?

I just finished a first video project with Nero Video Express (2.1.2.12) - added chapters and navigation menus to a captured video file and tried to create an image file.
