Verbatim 48x and CenDyne 52x drives

Postby MCKComputerWorks on Sun Jan 05, 2003 2:01 am

FYI: The Verbatim drives that I purchased tonight (thinking they were Lite-Ons) were not. Instead they are those butt-ass ugly Benq drives, and they're actually 48x16x48. I took 'em right back for a refund.

Also, the CenDynes are NOT Lite-Ons, either! Not sure what kind they are, but the model number on the sticker definitely isn't an "LTR____" number....I did see some CenDyne Lite-On based 52x drives on the shelves at Circuit City and Micro Center yesterday.
