I've had this drive in 2 different systems now, and its basically hit or miss if it will work (read or write) under Windows XP. The drive is always detected in the bios and visibly shows up on my computer, but the drive will not read CDs, and isn't shown as a CD-RW when I open Nero. I believe from the looks of the drive its a BTC (I know...many have had problems with this brand). Anyone else had a similar problem? It only cost me $10 after rebate, so I may just trash it...
