Pacific Digital

Has anyone heard anything about this company?
I have heard that they get their drives from Lite-ON.
Is this true?
They have an EXTERNAL CDRW for 99.00 at BB running in USB2.0 and some open boxes for 50 bux. Is this a good deal or an I wasting my cash?[/code]

They repackage drives from a number of different manufacturers, including, but not limited to, LiteOn. So you aren't guaranteed of getting a LiteOn if you buy Pacific Digital. You might get a Benq, an OptoRite or something else, depending on who they bought from that month. Because of this, it doesn't really make much sense to ask for opinions on Pacific Digital in general. The opinions will vary depending on what people found in their boxes.
