photoshow express & mp3 music

I have not been able to get photoshow express to add mp3 audio to vcd's. When I am in the window to add mp3 music it shows my music folders, but it does not show the actual music files as mp3 format that can be added.
Thoughts?

Because of legal issues, we can only allow you to use MP3 files provided by the Nero PhotoShow Express program for VCD Creation. We have no way of checking if the MP3 files in your My Music folder are legal purchased or ones you personally created.

This only applies to VCD creation, for all other operations you can use any audio file.
