i am trying to download software in my cd rom and it won't download anything, also i cannot find my "D" drive, is this why my cd rom won't work, if so is there anywya i can put my "D" drive back in?
assuming your CD-ROM drive is on your Secondary IDE channel, go to device manager, select the Secondary IDE Channel and Uninstall it. then reboot. Windows should re-detect the Secondary Channel and the CD-ROM drive on it.
