A rare day

Postby MediumRare on Sun Feb 29, 2004 9:35 am

Today is a day that comes around every 4 years or so. Are you planning anything special on this 29th day of February (other than rootig for the Middlesbrough FC) ? I'll be off for a walk in the crisp (ca. = 0°) sunshine, but that's nothing special.

because feb only has 29 days once every 4 years. it is called a leap year.

this day is when a whole bunch of kids are born and have to wait 4 years for their 1st birthday.

same thing in Israel.

i wonder if Google-Israel has a special theme during a leap year of the Hebrew calendar?
in the Hebrew calendar, in a leap year we have not an extra day, but an extra MONTH!

They redirected you to a German google? Oh, the cruel irony!

And go go lunar calendar. What year is it now? 5,000 something?

I watched the Quantum Leap marathon. The show is hokey as hell, but I still love it. :D
