Postby NoSmartz on Sun Feb 29, 2004 10:25 pm

I just bought some imations for a $1 and they have no media code.InfoTool says something like Unreadable or Unrecognizable media. Was wondering if there was cd-r site like www.dvdrhelp.com for finding out media codes for cd-r's?

cdmediaworld.com used to have that info but its very out of date.

Use Lite-On's SMARTBURN util instead of InfoTool:

Like CMC and Ritek, MBI has gotten a bad rap over the years as a crappy media manufacturer. I've tried some of the Imation branded stuff and its really not that bad. Of course, it really depends on the drive you use, etc.

You also have to take into account what the barometric pressure is, and adjust for wind velocity. And for goodness sake, don't forget to carry the one!
