(S)VCD->DVD Conversion

Postby BurninMan921 on Thu Mar 04, 2004 4:56 pm

OK, I have a VCD image on my hard drive (in the form of bin/cue); now, since I don't have a DVD player that can play the stupid things, how do I convert it to a DVD-Video disc quicly/easily? I'd like to keep the menus and everything.

The only way I know is mount the thing in Daemon or use UltraISO and copy the MPG's off of it, then use something like NVE to make a new DVD. Downside: I loose the orginal menu's, plus NVE is brain dead and wants to re-encode everything.

Any ideas? I'd perfer to use free-ware tools, but do have a fair number of VCD/DVD apps floating around (just call me Hoxlund jr.)...
