I've been finding RAM cheaper on eBay as opposed to Newegg and other online vendors. Newegg's prices are still over $100, yet on eBay, you can easily find good sticks of 512MB PC2700 for $90 or less, that includes shipping. And when I say good sticks, I mean quality chips on the sticks: Kingston, Infineon (look for Apacer branded sticks), Samsung, even the same chips (Spectek, which is a division of Micron) as the PMI link at Newegg that hoxlund posted. The key, find a reputable eBay seller with excellent feedback; that will greatly reduce the chance of getting hosed.

I doubt that. At least three of those are regarded as high-quality brands. But hey, you are entitled to your opinion. :)
