50 Pack 4x CD-RW Discs

Postby imtim83 on Sun Apr 18, 2004 10:24 am

Are these 50 Pack 4x CD-RW Discs - FREE after $10IR, $10MIR and $10MIR any good at officemax this week? Does anyone know if they are 650MB or 700MB? Do you think they will last a while like other more expersive CD-RWs? Is this the best deal you seen so far for CD-RWs even though they are slow? Guessing 650MB. Will they work ok with a Plextor 24x 10x 40x?

I know they won't beable to be used at 10 x but only 4x which is pretty slow. Though there basicly free. Ok around $2 or more tax depending on what state you live in after mail in rebate if you get your mail in rebates of course. I am basically only going to use them a little at a time most of the time so 4x shouldn't be so bad if I add something here and there every now and then. Though a full burn is when it will feel very slow I know.

If they are Value Disc, I have bad experiences about Value Disc.
Once I got cdr 50pk, I open it and find tht they are MCC AZO CDR made by CMC. But they are sucks. I got over 1000 C1 and C2...

I didn't know CD-RW discs were made with AZO dye. Everytime I check it, it just says "Phase Change," whatever that means. I haven't used these particular Value Disc CD-RW's, but I have used old Imation/CMC 4X CD-RW discs and they worked just fine.

No... I mean I have bad experience about Value Disc CDR, not CDRW.
