I'd just like to say name calling shows how immature you are, using terms such as a*hole, I have honestly never heard those terms used before except when it came to you. It means something along the lines of a hole of an a*, but never has anyone used the term, going back to any grade of school, business's I have been involved in, other forums, etc.

 Yup, the term a*hole has never been used before on these forums. I'm sinking down to the levels off everyone else here and thier own immaturity. On a side note, can you please size down your avatar? Once again, mine are often called too big, but that is bigger than I have ever had any of mine. I also mentioned the same thing to dodeca the other day and he sized down his sig.

EDIT: The avatar is gone now....

I don't mean to insult your intelligence, but simply point out how immature you are being. This is not the school play ground. Insulting people is not "cool". If you are going to insult someone to make a joke, you should have at least make a face to show that you are just kidding like ;)
I hope you can show some kind of integrity.

Edit: The giant scary head is still there.

Whoever said "insulting people was cool." I never said that, I was not trying to be "cool" by telling people that they can be annoying quite often. I never do anything out of my charecter to be "cool."

This is not the school play ground. Insulting people is not "cool".

Well then, let's take what you said, if I was insulting to be cool, then others would also be insulting me, & my avatar/sig to be "cool" then that doesn't apply to me alone, maybe we should all learn a lesson from JamieW and learn that this is not a school playground?

I like these pictures and I would still like them even if i weren't sad.

I guess i am a melocoly kind of guy.. i enjoy them.

beauty in sadness

Well, it is understandable that you are a little sad. Although Jen isn't truly gone, she is gone from you now, and thus it is natural for you to feel grief. But you will slowly move on, and I think you will be happier for it. I certainly hope you will. In the meantime, although it is alright to feel sad, please reach for help from someone you trust if the sadness feels overwhelming or refuses to lighten eventually.

As for the pictures themselves, I like them as well. As you say, there can be beauty in sadness. They look familiar, but I can't place them. Where did you get them?

Like children drinking a keg?

Like rifles swimming in the woods?

Like an instructor schooling a block?

LOL  Yes, that's the one. Oh, what many fond memories I have of my bucolic days at summer camp, leaning against a warm fieldstone wall under the lazy August sun, a stalk of wheatgrass hanging out the corner of my mouth, watching the schools of rifles swimming upstream through the woods to their primordial breeding grounds where they start the mysterious and wondrous cycle of life anew...

Wait! Does that mean you aren't pissed off?!?! Shoot, aviationwiz' plan isn't working. :( Perhaps a return to the drawing board would be in order. Who was Wile-E-Coyote's go-to company when plans didn't work out as intended? ACME! That's it!

A-Vi-Ationwiz after trying to use his ACME "Lil'-devil" Witty Come-Back kit:????

Remember, though, that on the Internet it is always daytime somewhere and there are always kids logged on.

By the way, I like your new computer-smashing avatar. I can't count how often have I felt that way...

I'm changing my Avatar four times a day - and they will all look better than any hero of the Minnesota FDL: Wellstone, Mondale, Algore (that's one word, folks) or HHH.

So far I have to agree. That's a cute puppy your daughter (I assume) is holding. What's his name? He looks like a friendly fellow.

By the way: HHH - what's that???

WTF! You haven't heard of HHH?

BTW, it's DFL, not FDL, LOL.

Only the vice president of the United States!

HHH Info

On a side note, my family was really good friends with him.

Ah.... okay. I certainly know of Hubert Humphrey. I just didn't recognize the initials. You don't hear much about him these days (unsurprisingly), and his glyph isn't quite so famous as, for example, JFK. Thanks for the info.

I take it, then, that you don't want me to create another "artist's conception" of what he looks like when flashing.

Voted YES on granting normal trade relations status to Vietnam. (Oct 2001)

Voted NO on banning more types of Congressional gifts. (Jul 1995)
No gifts from lobbyists. Refuses pay raises. (Jan 1999)

Voted YES on background checks at gun shows. (May 1999)
Voted NO on more penalties for gun & drug violations. (May 1999)

Voted YES on banning chemical weapons. (Apr 1997)
Voted NO on cutting nuclear weapons below START levels. (May 1999)

Voted NO on limit welfare for immigrants. (Jun 1997)
Voted NO on allowing more foreign workers into the U.S. for farm work. (Jul 1998)

Voted NO on eliminating the 'marriage penalty'. (Jul 2000)
Voted YES on reducing marriage penalty instead of cutting top tax rates. (May 2001)

And so on and so forth.

Sounds like someone else who is currently running for president to me.
