Sad day at the hox house :(

I had to sell my iPod:

I found myself not really using it at all, since my car deck has mp3 abilities

I'll probably pick up a cheap memory based upgradeable player, just to say i have an mp3 player for those plane trips

but wouldn't you say thats a steal for a 40gb iPod which already comes with 28gb of music loaded

Depends on who buys it.

This is the exact same reason i do not own a portable mp3 player. I have a MD player as it is, and i never use that except if i am going somewhere w/o my car or w/ people that i don't want to talk to

Hox, nice Pod.

Monte, why would you go anywhere with people you don't want to talk to?

With a Yamaha CRW-F1 and a Pioneer DVR-107 you have nothing to be sad about! ....well, unless you think Secu-record is useful, or want to test your luck using Gigarecord

Work got me my 30GB iPod since they double as external hard disks. Great idea aside from the fact that they don't dock well with most servers (you need the USB 2.0 adapter, or a PCI FireWire card). Since I have a Kenwood in-dash MP3 deck in the car, I don't need it there, so it has kind of sat around. I do think it's great when working out indoors though (though I haven't worked out in awhile as the equipment I use has been broken by some of our students  ).
