well im really getting into linux, so its either that or i load up 1 of 2 of my retail win xp pro full version

i got 2 full retail win xp pro from microsoft for doing retail training

Also, not quite sure how you'd do ripping, encoding, & burning DVD's on *nix.

one of my new associates at work is a linux genious he says linux has all that

so i'll get him to help me with it

and of course ill get a crack for sp2, when is that scheduled for release, the official one i mean

i attended the win xp training in Denver when they did it, got 2 copies there, did online microsoft training at www.microsoft.com/retail/live got another copy there (sold that one to a friend for $50)

and remember intel training is coming up in september-october

What do you actually do in training?Do you have to pay any charges?I have not heard of MS arranging training here in India.

just go to http://retail.microsoft.com/retail/training its free, you pay for shipping for anything you get off there training site

but thats it

It looks like you have to work at a retail store to get this....vs. an at home consultant.
